MacBook Pro + ScreenPal

Okay y’all! I am new to the MacBook world, but I love it! It is seriously the best computer I have ever had. However, I do love a good windows shortcut/tool. One I am missing is the snipping tool. I mean… I can take a screenshot on my MacBook with a shortcut and it saves the image to my desktop. This is handy, but I have a million images I have to constantly clean off, when all I really want was for the snip to be on my clipboard for me to paste into my doc or Canva design. I have had this computer for about a year now and I am learning all the things, but haven’t found a good way to add a screenshot to my clipboard, until today!

Have you seen ScreenPal?

ScreenPal offers you “screen capture tools that help you easily create, edit and communicate with videos and images.” Their tools are easy to use and they have everything I need when creating!

Their screen capture tools include:

  • Screen recorder

  • The ability to edit videos

  • Take screenshots and edit images

  • Built in stock library

  • Add videos anywhere you type

  • Host and share content

I have had my MacBook Pro for about a year now and just downloaded the ScreenPal extension today! SMH 🤦🏻‍♀️ Why haven’t I done this sooner! The extension is so easy to use and offers me excellent tools. I can take screenshots that are copied to my clipboard, I can download them, and edit them. I can also record video or my desktop.

👈 Check out this TikTok where I share how easy the ScreenPal is for me to use on my MacBook!

I also really like that within the extension settings I can turn the recorder in text boxes on! This means that within any text box in any application, my ScreenPal tool is available for me to use to record a video instead of typing!! Say What?!? I know!!

The ScreenPal tool is easy to locate within your text boxes. It is a blue dot and as you hover over it the ScreenPal logo will appear.

Just think of all the ways you can use ScreenPal video in text boxes!

Go check out ScreenPal and let me know what you think!
